Facemasks for Darjeeling!

Trustee Lisa Glydon and her daughter Amelia have been busy during lockdown making and selling facemasks in support of DCT. With the help of friends and family, their amazing production line has been filling orders from near and far. We are very grateful to Laurent Garigue for his donation of fabric, and to Katie from Cambridge Fabrics for the elastic she donated. After a very busy few weeks the ‘Darjeeling Do’ers’ raised a fantastic £3,600, which will be used to pay for the vocational training of a number of young people once colleges reopen in Darjeeling, transforming their future and that of their families. Thank you to everyone who bought a mask, and a huge well done to Lisa, Amelia and all their helpers who now deserve a well-earned rest!
