Micah is running the marathon in Lithuania this weekend, to raise funds for the trust. Micah will be visiting Darjeeling in September to see where the money goes and how it's helping the kids. You can sponsor him here.

DCT's annual golf day. We are looking for 12 teams of four to vie with each other for the privilege of winning the Darjeeling Cup.

Pontefract Rotary Club has arranged an Indian night. A local restaurant has agreed a reduced fixed price per head (meals provided at cost) and tickets will be sold at £10.00 per dinner plus raffle on the evening.

They are expected to sell - out the venue which seats 120-140. Funds are being raised for DCT to support Alka Rai who is resident at Kripassara girls home - with nurse training over the next 3 years.

Chris Beal and Steve Bower have decided to take on the 3 peaks challenge - Ben Nevis (4409ft), Scafell Pike (3209ft) and Snowdon (3560ft) in under 24 hours.

Starting at Ben Nevis around 6pm on Wed 22nd July.The team has generously agreed to raise funds for DCT. A Just Giving Page will be set up in due course

Wakefield Chantry Rotary Club is supporting us with a £1000 per annum donation for the next three years.

Trustee Hugh Heron will be presenting to them on Tuesday 28th July with an update on the plans for Phase 2 of the orphange redevelopment and a photo collage of Phase 1.

Join us for a morning Vinyasa flow in the beautiful Battersea Park, London. Our instructor Emma Peel will lead us through an invigorating and energising Vinyasa flow followed by a meditative and restorative Yin sequence.
